Australia was originally used as a prison island for England, they used to send criminals there for punishment for their crimes. Now it is a free nation. Iraq is just a barren wasteland, enough punishment for anyone who lives there. Plus they are very far apart. hah, hah

In a nutshell:

Australia, despite its numerous immigrants from all over the world, is basically a country with a culture of western - mainly anglosaxon - origin, plus it encompasses cultural expressions of the native Aboriginees, who are a minority, though. Also, it is a relatively young culture.

Iran is not a western country, it forms part of the middle east and belongs to western Asia. The origins of this oriental culture and also of its language are persian. Human civilization in that region reaches very far back in time.

Otherwise, I really advise you to get updated on the world's different cultures.

Australia is now basicly European and Aboriginie (local native people) based country. Speaking English and more Christian than any other religion. Iraq or Iran is a Moslem country with different dress and eating habits. It is not a free country either like Australia. No beer in the Middle East!
