I know sometimes if people will make fun of you if you ride a sportster, they say it's a chicks bike. That to me is really old school though. They have really beefed up the sportsters over the years, but they are a lighter bike and easier for someone to handle if they decide to tip.

Randy Palmer used to own a Harley dealership, maybe he could give you some good advice.

perhaps a softtail would be the one for you

Late as usual, a sportster would be a good choice or if you want the big bore bike they have several low seating models and the weight is better handleed if your shorter than a man.

But we are guessing about you, just go into a dealer and try some out, test ride one.

Even if you are looking for a used one then you will know what you like.
