    Can a dog eat cat food? And why not?

      I suppose that you can feed them what ever they will eat.. there is a difference in how they make it... cat food has more fat. Dog food is higher in protien.

        Well if given a choice I have always heard that the dog will go for the cat food everytime, but I myself use Science Diet and have to have my cats on a prescription form of the Science Diet because one has kidney disease. But I myself prefer Science Diet food overall for either cats or dogs.
