 just stop! thats all you need to do, it feels very weird for the first week or so but just keep telling yourself why you quit and the advantages you will gain by quiting. ;-)

Chantix  is another good source but, all it took for me was having my chest being split open (Triple Bypass Surgery) no withdraw symptoms but if, I could do over, I'd never started or quit earlier, even lost part of lung due to CANCER.  Their not worth it, especially when one considers the tobacco companies and our government are making a killing off you and your loved ones DYING from them!!!

Put the cigarette out and make a quality decision to never light another one, no matter what. It is the only thing that worked for me.

Will power and determination. When you want a cig - suck a boiled sweet. 

Switch to sex immediately and use your mouth more creatively instead of sucking on a cigarette.  Both will eventually kill you but, hey, what the hell.
