My husband suffers from sleep apnea and has to use a CPAP machine which pumps air into his nose and the chin strap keeps his mouth shut at the same time. It helps a lot, but as Peoplelover said he also needs to lose lots of weight and this issue would resolve itself. I believe it may run in families because his father and his two brothers all have the same issue (and they are all overweight too).

6 dogs has been my AKA "friend" for some time and she would be so bold.
For me, my wife learned the hard way.
She was overweight and had sleep apnia and wore a mask to sleep. She was diagnosed with cancer, had her entire stomach removed, lost over 30 kgs, over 60lbs. Result no sleep apnia,no mask.
As I said learned the hard way.
