I like the classics when reading to my children,such as little red riding hood,snow white,and the three little pigs.:)

My children are grown-ups with children of their own, so, they do the reading to their children. But, I found a site that might be helpful in case you want a new book to read to your children.

When I was growing up my father used to read from a book "famous American poems". poems like Casey at the bat and "Casey returns"I really can not remember the others except a poem called "the owl and the fox" and it made me and my little brother laugh and cry at its story line. It's a matter of getting the voices and rhythm that makes them children's favorites and I'm sure with a little time finding them on line is possible. good luck
