      Not if they grow on a thorney bush. They ones that grow in trees can make you sick.

            Pick in   a field with  wild blackberries.   safer you wont be hit by a car.  You live in area with snakes be careful.

              probably not the most ideal environment with all the car gas fumes going by all the time.  I'd stick to ones near  creeks.
