google "download zip exe", or "download rar exe"
the other option - you can install a freeware called IrfanView - it allows you to resize pictures manually (and very easy)

they are not free to download. you can try looking for them on torrent sites, but I don't think you will find much (if any at all).
besides - remember that the roads are constantly changing, meaning that so are the maps.
if you want to have the most updated maps you should get them from the insignia producer. If they charge you for that maybe it's time to get another product which provides you with free map updates ;)
