Getting rid is a harsh pharse .  She is a human. Not an object. If you want rid its obvious your love has drifted apart. Just sit and talk sensibly and show respect. Don't kill her down. Many people have there ways of a perfect pitch. Some say high some say low. The real of the pefect pitch is when you sing or play the not excatly at the correct pitch not to high not to low.
