Where the top radiator hose connects to the engine is where the thermostat is.

You can either use a usb cable, if your phone has one, or can hook up with bluetooth if both have it. Turn bluetooth on on both units, and run a search to pair them up. USB is the easiest way.

the intake manifold is bolted to the side of the engine block near the top.  on one side is the exhaust manifold, which connects the exhaust system to the engine, on the other side is the intake manifold which connects your air intake to the engine.
