My wife was diagnosed with alzheimers in May this year though she has shown signs of it about twelve months before that. At the moment she is on the only medication that she can tolerate - Rivastigmine 9.5 patches - which is the hign dose. Has this medication been proved or shown to work and slow it down, and if so for how long?
