I'm an atheist (sort of), but what do you mean by educated? Okay, here's my opinion, if you really want to know it:
There are two planes to the universe. There's the physical plane, which is physical, you can see, hear, smell, taste, and feel it. That's what most atheists believe in. The second plane is the spiritual world, with spirits, feelings, ghosts, and possibly a god/Mother Nature. These two planes mold together. Such as when two people fall in love, the physical world doesn't take notice of it, but the spiritual acknowledges it by binding them, somehow.
I guess I'm an atheist (sort of) because all the other religions I have encountered are very restricted and don't explain everything in the universe. My version does. This is just my belief, and I respect all other religions. Do not take this personally, please.
I'm against smoking. I mean, my great-uncle died from lung cancer, which resulted from smoking. If people want to smoke, that's their opinion, but honestly, they should smoke away from everyone who doesn't like smoking or isn't currently, especially if they want to quit. The fumes don't control where they go. The smoker does. They should go smoke in a bar where no one cares, or in an abandoned field, where no one goes. Did you know every time you smoke one cigarette, 11 minutes of your natural death life is cut? Also, a smoker has 10 times more wrinkles than a non-smoker on average. I partly agree, because in some public areas, people may smoke, but more often, there's a no smoking sign in front.
I admit, to me, it's unnerving when a religious person goes up to me and follows me around, trying to get me to stop being an atheist. Calm down, all they're trying to do is help you. That's all they want to do. And if a father doesn't love his children if they aren't the same religion, then that's the father's problem. Remember, it's a free country, and there is freedom of speech. Think twice about asking questions like these. If I were Christian, I'd blow my head off at you.
Where was he born? I looked online, and there are two Larry C. Johnson's so far,and both look about the age.
I would add, but all of you so far have done a wonderful job answering. A sense of humor would be nice, and if they love their parents back if their parents love them...that would be great!
There are two ducks in front of one duck. There are two ducks behind a duck. How many ducks are there? Three!
Your brain is your mind. "You" is your mind, body, and spirit. I suppose your mind controls your body, and in very rare cases, your mind controls your spirit. Most of the time, I believe, your spirit controls your mind and your spirit. Don't worry, all of them are a part of you. They ARE, they don't really control.
I'd kill Hitler, or at least make him be raised a different way. I'd also kill Chairman Mao. He's almost as bad as Hitler. Oh, and I would prevent Socrates from dying. He knew so much... This is kind of weird, but the earth is probably better off without people. I mean, we killed so many animals and plants, and caused so much death. The world would thrive without us. The world isn't exactly thriving right now, you know?
What @$$ said something racist? Okay, this is wasting our time. Just dis the racist and let it go.
I'm bored, okay? Why are you on this site, then? Besides, I'm giving people advice. I don't call that wasting my life. I guess it's not enjoying the world, but helping isn't bad...unless it hurts others.
