What was source of loud boom at 12:00AM in Fannin County, GA

 It was a light earthquake (2.5 MbLg) centered in McCaysville. Here is the U.S.G.S. info on it.

It was definitely loud, the sound was what caught my attention. it sounded like Fannin Regional Hospital collapsed in on itself.  I barely noticed any tremors.
