It means  that your world does not just involve work and home but your community, schools, churches, neighbors. You should help everyone and be a part of all activities. God expects people to participate not just go along for the ride. You will get more out of life, your life will be more fulfilling and meaningful and people will remember you long after your gone n=and all the giving will come back to you three fold. If you expect your children or relatives to have a safe place to live  practice taking care of the environment now, we cannot wait another day for the earth problems to solve itself.
