IIt upsets me that the celebration has come down to a rabbit and some colored eggs. Where is our Lord in this?

In Mel Gibson's portrayal of Jesus' last days he showed very graphically the scourging that Jesus endured. There have been programs,on the History Channel where "scholars" have proved the so-called falsity of the bible and what it says about Jesus. He was physically unable to carry the cross anywhere because it was too heavy, He was nailed to a small tree on the mount, He was buried in a tomb located in the city dump. We don't know how strong men were in those days, men in those days had to be much stronger that the weaklings we are today. Romans in that day always attached criminals to crosses, most of them to the road outside the city, they were supposed to be examples of what criminals could look forward to. The tomb He was layed in, from what I understand, belonged to a rich man and definitely was not located in the city dump. I don't know where they dig up these so-called experts, but they need to dismiss them and get scholars that actually read the Bible. Also even most of these scholars knew Jesus was not called Jesus Christ people inthat time they generally did not have last names. They were known by their origins or trade. Wikipedia describes Christ: Christ is the English term for the Greek (Khristós) meaning "the anointed one". It is a translation of the Hebrew (), usually transliterated into English as Messiah. Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ they have a lot of information about Jesus
