I painted my oak kitchen cabinets with white melamine paint and did not prime them first which was the advice I got from Home Depot. Now after 3 coats of paint on half my cupboard doors I can see a yellow/brownish colour coming through. I guess this is what they call bleeding. What can I do to resolve this problem, is it too late to prime the doors now

HI  BEFORE YOU STARTED WERE YOU ADVISED TO WIPR THE SURFACES WITH METHOLATED SPIRIT TO REMOVE ANY GREASE OR POLISH BEFORE YOU STARTED TO PAINT.

YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE PAINT YOU HAVE APPLIED BECAUSE OF PAINT BUILD UP  YOU NEED TO SAND PAPER THE PAINT UNTIL IT IS NEARLY BACK TO THE ORIGINAL OAK DOOR .

BEFORE STARTING THE PAINTING PROCESS FINISH SANDING WITH FINE WIRE WOOL TO GIVE A REALY SMOOTH FINISH  CLEAN THE DOOR THOUGHLY WITH WHITE SPIRIT USING A LINT FREE CLOTH ALLOW TO DRY YOU NEED TO APPLY A COAT OF WHATS CALLED BARRIER PAINT THIS ENSURES THAT NO UNDER PAINTS WILL BLEED THROUGH FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING HOW MANY COATS TO APPLY AND WEATHER TO GIVE YOUR DOORS AN UNDER COAT AS DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS HAVE VARIOUS BUILD UP SPECIFICATIONS

YOU NEED TO SAND DOWN BETWEEN APPLYING COATS OF PAINT USING THE REALY FINE SANDPAPER OR WIREWOOL MAKE SURE YOU WIPE DOWN WITH WHITE SPIRIT IN BETWEEN COATS SO AS TO REMOVE ANY BITS  GREASE ETC.

ALWAYS FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS WHICH ARE USUALLY ON THE TIN

IF YOU PAINT  BARRIER COAT,    PRIMER COAT   2  UNDERCOAT AND 2 FINISH COATS YOU  SHOULD GET A REARLY SMOOTH PROFESSIONAL FINISH

GOOD LUCK HOPE THIS HELPS

how much does a full gold soverign weigh
Answers: 1 Views: 370 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago

HI HOPE THIS HELPS

The sovereign is a gold coin of the United Kingdom, with a nominal value of one pound sterling but in practice used as a bullion coin.

Named after the English gold sovereign, last minted in 1604, the name was revived with the Great Recoinage of 1816.[1] Minting these new sovereigns began in 1817. The gold content then was fixed at 113 grains (7.322 g), equivalent to 0.2354 troy ounce, a weight which has remained constant to the present day.[2]

Sovereigns were minted in the United Kingdom from 1817 to 1917, in 1925, and from 1957. Australia, India, Canada, and South Africa all occasionally minted the coins.

In addition to the sovereign, the Royal Mint also struck ten-shilling half sovereigns, two-pound double sovereigns, and five-pound quintuple sovereigns coins. Only the sovereign and the half sovereign were commonly struck for circulation.

In 2009, The Royal Mint released a new coin in the sovereign series: the quarter-sovereign, similar in some ways to the original gold English crown of the rose.

david has $ 15,000 to invested, he invested $ 10,000 in a mutual fund that pay 12% annual simple interest, if he want to make $ 2200 in yearly interest, at what rate does the remaining of the money need to be invested?
Answers: 1 Views: 174 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago

HI          I ANSWERED THIS QUESTION YESTERDAY

IF YOU HAVE  $10000 AT 12% FOR ONE YEAR THE INTEREST WOULD BE   10000 X 12/100 =

120000/100 =  $1200

AS THE TOTAL INTEREST REQUIRED IS $2200 SUBTRACT THE  $1200 ALREADY EARNT  THAT MEANS YOU REQUIRE  $1000 FROM THE REMAINING  $5000

   LETS CALL INTEREST    M        THEREFORE   5000 X M/100 = 1000         M/100 =1000/5000

M/100 =1/5    THEREFORE       M = 100/5       M = 20%

THEREFORE    $5000 AT  20% FOR ONE YEAR YEILDS  $1000 ADD THIS TO YOUR $1200 AND YOU HAVE YOUR TOTAL

I HOPE YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THE WORKING OUT OF THIS PROBLEM IF NOT PLEASE POST ANOTHER QUESTION

what is 115mb(31.7kb/sec mean
Answers: 1 Views: 550 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago

HI  YOU HAVE TWO  THINGS GOING ON WITH  115mb    (31.7kb/sec)

115mb REFERS TO STORAGE CAPACITY mb MEANS MEGA BYTES

MB means Mega Bytes.
That should mean 1,000 bytes, but it is really 1,024 bytes.
4 MB = 4 Mega Bytes (4,096 bytes, actually)
8 MB = 8 Mega Bytes. (8,192 bytes, actually)
(has to be an exponent of 2.)
2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192, et cetera)

MB usually defines the amount of data or information that can be stored or used at any one time.
Almost without exception, more MB means better / faster performance, whether you're talking about disk drive space, memory, cache, or whatever.
You would also need to consider the "access speed" of the
device, but a really safe bet would be that 8MB is definitely better than 4MB

THE LAST PART MEANS  HOW FAST OR SPEED  INFORMATION IS BEING LOADED ONTO AOR FROM A STORAGE DEVICE

What does KBps and Kbps mean and how do they reflect transfer speeds?

Kilobyte (KB or K) = 1024 bytes (2 ^ 10) "binary kilobyte"
kilobyte (kB) = 1000 bytes (10 ^ 3) "decimal kilobyte"

Kilobit (Kb) = 1024 bits (2 ^ 10) "binary kilobit"
kilobit (kb) = 1000 bits (10 ^ 3) "decimal kilobit"

KBps = Kilobytes (1024 bytes) per second (binary)
kBps = kilobytes (1000 bytes) per second (decimal)

Kbps = Kilobits (1024 bits) per second (binary)
kbps = kilobits (1000 bits) per second (decimal)

bps = bits per second

Most browsers and a lot of FTP programs show transfer rates in KBps (kilobytes per second). So in order to get the approximate number of Kbps (kilobits per second) you need to know that there are 8 Kb (kilobits) in every KB (kilobyte). Thus if your browser is showing that you are downloading a file at 176 KBps you would then multiply 176 times 8 which would translate to 1,408 Kbps. The reverse can be used if your transfer rate is in Kbps then you divide that number by 8 to get your rate in KBps. Example:1400 Kbps divided by 8 equals 176 KBps transfer rate.

If you wanted to know how many bps (bits per second) you are transferring, all you need to do is a straight decimal conversion. Example: 1,408 Kbps would translate to 1,408,000 bps

HI YOU USE THE HYPOTINUS RULE    SIDE ' A'  SQ  +  SIDE  'B' SQ = DIAGONAL SQ

THEREFORE  6SQ + 3SQ = DIAGONAL SQ          6X6 +3X3 = DIA     36 + 9 = SQ ROOT 45

THIS IS         6FT - 8.498 IN     OR APPROX 6FT 8 1/2 INCH
