Atheist and the Bible
Answers: 14 Views: 3396 Rating: 2 Posted: 13 years ago

Well i don't exactly know what to call myself but I've never claimed to be an Athiest (except when argueing with a devout christian.lol).I know there's more in heaven n earth, horatio than dreamt of in your books ~ to paraphrase the bard.I've seen to many unexplainable things n am left with too many questions.I'm interested in a broad range of interests but have to admit I've not sat n read the bible throughout. We read it in school,I've listened to those with faith n have to admit regularly watch documentaries about religion but I am afraid the Christian religion doesnt resonate with me.I remember being in assembly age 5 and feeling that all that god stuff doesnt make sense n it's never rang true to me.I feel there's more to Paganism. The end of the day the fact that somebody wrote about what god was meant to have said to someone else is hardly proof of anything

A bit of High Magick. Try it?
Answers: 4 Views: 1214 Rating: -1 Posted: 13 years ago

No I wouldnt want to try it.Magick,I do know can be very powerful and should never be used without real need and knowledge and certainly not for the sake of it.There are many different forms of Magick practised by followers of the 'Old Ways' whether it's Witchcraft,Paganism, semi religious teachings of many origins with their own beliefs and rituals so unless you have a solid grounding in the uses and dangers of Magick then don't dabble with it.The way it manifests itself has a strong link with the teachings you follow and personally I'm not wholly sure what the active force or power is that allows it to have an impact on the physical world but I know from dabbling myself that it has real power and it can backfire nastily if it's not properly understood and directed. So be warned you want to use it then learn how to,why it works and understand that the morals behind it's use truly matter and colour it's outcome

Black Magick
Answers: 4 Views: 1526 Rating: 0 Posted: 13 years ago

What you are talking about in Witchcraft,Paganism and other users of Magick is the Law of Three or the Law of Attraction which states that whatever you put out into the world will come back on you three fold so clearly if you use Magick for evil, negative or selfish reasons you run the real risk of paying a high price. Both prayer and the use of Magick are ritulised ways of focus your desire and tapping into universal energy, collective unconcious to influence your desires and make them happen. It may sound like New Age crap but I know myself that focusing real intent can bring about what you wish but also you better be careful what you wish for cos you may just get it.Ever read the Monkey's Paw !!!! I spose use of Magick for the wrong reasons may be Black but really Black Magic is Satanism n grew out of Christianity having no connection with Witchcraft/Paganism !!!!

Magick and Prayer
Answers: 5 Views: 1510 Rating: 0 Posted: 13 years ago

Magick and prayer are in fact very similar, usually performed for similar reasons like strength in hard times or good fortune for friends and family. They are seen extremely differently mainly because the practitioners of prayer declared the users of Magick as consorting and working for satan, persecuting them and hanging n burning thousands of them.Even today Witchcraft and Paganism are viewed as dangerous or the preserve of new age hippies. When you pray you appeal to your deity, when you use Magick you invoke the life force, universal energy n collective unconcious.Either way this focus of mind and will can clearly have an effect in the real world.Of course Witchcraft grew out of many 1000's of years of Paganism in the UK which is neither evil or negative unless its used that way despite the church's total war on it.Ask yourself which one has perpetrated more evil in the world.Witchcraft is the faith rooted in my country, simples

WHY DOES THE TRUTH HURT ?
Answers: 14 Views: 2305 Rating: 4 Posted: 13 years ago

The only truth that matters to me is that when it comes to the important things that the people i care about and trust are straight with me.If they have something that needs to be said then say it even if its not what i want to hear.Better that then lie n humour me cos it'll be worse when i do find out.It is always best to know the truth cos then you know where you stand. As for the truths beyond my life and control i'm not that bothered cos there's not much i can do about them

Aye it was the mark I tank, often linked with Winston Churchill but of course he didnt invent it but set up a commitee to find solutions to the deadlock on the frontline then back it.We're talking obviously about the First World War.It started with mass mobilisation and movement but then when the armies dug in during autumn 1914 they were unable to move again.Machine guns and barbed wire made offensive action ineffective so both sides dug huge trench systems and brought up the heavy guns n there they were stuck.British engineers devised the tank,an armoured and armed box with catipillar tracks that could traverse the shell torn ground, survive machine gun fire and attack the enemy trenches. It first went into action near the end of the Somme,1916 but had little real impact,it wasnt till Cambrai 1917 that it fulfilled its promise. They were shipped to France in crates labelled Water Tank for security, hence the name

Radiator coolant excess
Answers: 2 Views: 1886 Rating: 0 Posted: 13 years ago

It depends how much you overfill it by.In a modern cooling system you dont fill it at the radiator like in the old days (there are a few exceptions like some Nissans) but at a clear plastic tank known as the expansion tank. When the engine heats up and so too the coolant it creates pressure inside the system but it needs some air in the system for that. When you top up at the expansion tank, which will be the highest poimdt in the system you will see a maximum mark usually at 3/4 its full volume leaving a 1/4 free to be full of air. As i said as the coolant and air heats up,the air expands and as its a sealed system it pressurises the system.Coolant that is pressurised has a higher boiling point which has obvious advantages. Now if you overfill the tank you will leave less space for air to pressurise,if you fill it right up theres nowhere for hot coolant to overflow so it'll try n come thru the gaskets,,water pump or thermostat

Question regarding Cliff Richard
Answers: 7 Views: 2374 Rating: 0 Posted: 13 years ago

Come on surely nobody genuinely rates Cliff Richard as a proper rock n roll singer.I'd class him with Daniel O donnell, not in style but its only really your granny that listens to him.Course maybe if i'd been around in the 50's it'd be different, perhaps you had to be there to get it but I've grown up wi him in Summer Holiday on the tv bank holidays, crap songs on top of the pops late 70's n 80's,christmas singles n wimbledon,,oh and living doll wi the young ones.lol.Its hard to see how he could have been our answer to Elvis. He's so harmless, inoffensive n totally cheesy it doesnt seem possible, the whole god thing says it all.Is he really gay, thought he was still a virgin,to saintly to have a sexual thought but who knows.Aye the devil gets the good music, cliff will go heaven so think i'll just keep dancin wi the devil,,cliff richard aint a rock singer,he is a joke thou !!!!

Who's the best Guitar player ever?
Answers: 65 Views: 8089 Rating: 6 Posted: 13 years ago

This is possibly the hardest if not an impossible question to answer. What do you mean by the best?.that could mean totally different things to different people.I can't give you one player above the rest. After 23 years love of music n playing guitar i know there isnt a best,so i'm just tell who i rate.lol.First off Jimmy Page,Jimi Hendrix,Angus Young,Ritchie Blackmore for starters,Rory Gallagher,Gary Moore,Stevie Ray too.Kirk Hammett is fantastic,Eddie VH,Yngwie Malmsteen are technical wizards.Clapton is good but to my mind not a patch on Peter Green now there was someone special his phrasing and expression was wonderful,,i adore Bert Jansch listen to Reynardine, incredible. Also Davy ........ forgotten his surname,I'm ashamed to say.He was another folk guitar pioneer n viruoso, its his arrangement of White Summer that Jimmy Page plays almost note for note,,sure one of you knows who i mean !!

Rock bands. Are you a fan of "Ten Years After"? I'm very surprised . If you like the best of R&R,mixed with blues, you are missing out,Yes, No?
Answers: 4 Views: 1339 Rating: 0 Posted: 13 years ago

Oh aye I agree Ten Years After were amazing n Alvin Lee was a real rock n roll guitarist.I just answered your top 5 bands where i said i hate it cos there always a band i love n truly rate but for some mad reason slip my mind.Lo n behold with a minute Ten Years After are mentioned.I remember seeing Goin Home from Woodstock when i was 15 n just picked up the guitar, thats 23 year ago yet i can picture it n hear it even now. That video n later Woodstock Diarys had some amazing performances,The Who,Jimi,Janis,Santana,Canned Heat,Mountain yet it's Goin Home i remember most, pure rock n roll gold in that Chuck Berry,Angus Young vein.I picked up an Lp of theirs in a 2nd hand shop a few years ago, fantastic. The young uns aint got a clue,,i'd add Rory Gallagher as another true great rarely recognised these days
