for the external hard drive its easy.go to the store and buy one and connect it to one of the ports of your computer.

the computer should find it in a few mins.,mine to this amount of time.

it may say"searching for content",this is normal.

well avast is great for this,but many use norten.

well,it depends what type of camera you are using?.

first if its a webcam,i would try connecting one wireplug to the mic jack,and the other to the earphoe jack.

if it does't work,goto the start menu and look for accerories,and try to find the camera there,that's the way i did ti on my laptop.
