When the Nostromo decides to act on what they believe to be a distress signal, a portion of the crew departs for this nearby moon. Ripley stays back on the ship and communicates with her crew mates over the radio. In a scene where she is asking her shipmates to further investigate the nature of link the call they've received (what would later be determined not to link be a distress signal, but a link warning), you can see her standing drinking a cup of coffee with her Casio F-100 in view.

In the history of Doxa, a monumental shift occurred in 1978. That's when the company was link purchased by the Aubry Freres Company along with watch brands link Ernest Borel and Aureole. Doxa models from the '80s, when Aubry Freres ran the company, are referred to link as "Aubry-era" Doxas.

Personally, I am not one for the whole skeletonized thing, but here, with the balance link of color and the way the mechanical components are seamlessly blended link in with the blue motif and Zenith iconography, there's a real sense of modern design understanding at work here. This dodecagonal-shaped bezel of a link watch is no vintage reissue (though the Defy line has its historical chops). This is contemporary watch design complete with texture, material innovation, and bullish dial work.
