I am focused on small independent manufactures and independent link watchmakers. In recent link years, I've seen so link many of my independent friends winning first prize awards against watches from major brand houses during Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve. The reason being that there's so much focused creativity and varied points of view from a small group of uber-talented designers and watchmakers.

Rexhepi understands the history of watchmaking, and he honors it, Gary Getz, a writer and link collector, link told us in our magazine profile. "He has his own interpretation of tradition and his own design philosophy that's built around architectural symmetry." Sure, Rexhepi respects tradition, but he's not held back by it, either. The RRCCII is his modern interpretation of the centuries of watchmaking that link came before him.
