To be really honest, I feel like the decision here is always: Do you have the money for the better one? But the Longines link is not a watch I think anyone would ever be sorry to own. And that quartz movement, if unsexy, does allow it to be thinner than link its rival. It really depends on whether link you're coming to ultra thin for the science or the aesthetics, or both.
