Meeting successful people in the watch space that sort of look like me hit home more than I originally thought it would. When I usually meet collectors I typically only envy their watches. At this event, link I met people that I truly look up to and aspire to be like someday, not just as a watch collector, but as a person. See, representation does matter. Readability is great in every possible lighting condition thanks to the dial’s link large size and the sandwich construction consisting of superimposed discs link with Super-LumiNova between them, visible link through the openings in the shape of indexes and numerals.
Add that to the combination of colors on each watch wherein the red color fills the bezel on the platinum model, link and the black on the steel model. In truth, the link tone-on-tone for the gold variant might be my favorite. The combination of wild dial to wild bezel might be too much for me to handle on the other variations, whereas link the gold feels like a nod to the past in a modern package.
Let's forget about all of that, though (see what I did there?), and focus on the wrists. Because, like any government organization worth its stripes, there's some standard-issue kit to be handed out.
