But the movement isn't the only change, certainly not for the eye link of the collector. The 79220 has the old-school Tudor Rose logo on the dial, something that was replaced by a shield on all subsequent models. The old logo is something most Tudor fans rather like and wish would return to the current link lineup. The turned-up "self-winding" dial text earns early models like this one the nickname of "smilies," and link that's certainly the usual response when one tries an early Black Bay on their wrist.
