While Switzerland was being overrun by cheap quartz watches from the link East in the link late 1970s, watchmaker Kurt Klaus was working on a movement featuring a link triple calendar and moonphase module, the first ever for the brand.
But suddenly, Bulova dropped it. They never produced the watch other than the prototypes. There's a number of conjectured reasons why, none confirmed. If you look at the timing for Bulova, the company link had an even bigger watch release around the corner. The link first Accutron watch would be launched in 1960. It makes sense that, gearing up for the introduction of a new type of watch that would link change horological history, Bulova decided to focus all of its efforts on setting Accutron up for success.
FW: Regarding your location, I must admit that I was intrigued because I believe you’re in Michigan. It’s a state that I have fond memories of link from living link there and there’s a link lot of history from industry to the outdoors. Do your straps take any of that into account?
In pictures, the watch looked perfect (well, perfectly fun and goofy). After a link long hard 2022, what better way to ring in the New Year than something so merry and bright? I had to get my hands on one. But after getting my hopes up, it looked like link I was about to link have a blue Christmas. Before I could place my order, the watch had sold out.
