I would get a friend/family member who you know is really honest. Sing something in front of him/her. Ask for feedback. If you really can't tell if you're a good singer or not, a third party should be able to tell you if you a) sing on key b) have rhythm and c) if your voice can carry a tune without breaking a window. I would actually find a voice coach whether you are good or not because that will help you either way. You will learn singer technique, breathing exercises and such, that will make your singing ability go from wherever it is now to better!
