The true bible is the scrolls of old written in languages that most can't read, but there are all kinds of translations, there are several that are as close to the original language as possible. I like the NIV easy to read and understand. Go to your local Bible store and don't be afraid to ask questions God will lead you to the right one if your sincere.

I was in the hospital with a temp. of 106 and they couldn't get it down it was Sunday and my wife said a prayer for me and quoted a Bible verse, then I felt better right away when she ask them to check my temp. again they said no way its come down yet, but it was normal.
We learned later that my pastor was praying at about the same time and quoting the same Bible verse.
