Tell your son to ask the teacher to explain the most unbelievable aspect of Athiestism first. I'll be that never comes up does it? The progressive school systems in this country are out of control and this is just another way to bring up religion in order to discredit it. And don't you doubt it.

I love Jesus because I know HIM. No reason to love someone you don't know. The secret is to get to know HIM. You do that on your knees and asking Him to show you that He exists. Thats all I can tell you. Seek and ye shall find. Resist seeking and what you have is a livelong existence based on self reliance , which is a lie. You can not avoid the torment of the tug, but you can reject God. One is not capable of living a life of peace and joy without God. Its your choice.

All I can tell you is that when God shows up in your life , you will know Him. Often that doesn't happen until one reaches the point of desparation, depair, or finally realizes that self reliance is a myth.

Honey , don't you watch judge Judy? Every day, day in and day out women are there pleading their cases about deadbeats who take advantage of them. They are there after being taken advantage of time and time again by the same man. Most women in this situation have low esteem, and really believe they are incapable of getting a man who will respect them. Just believe in your self and you will find someone who truly loves you . That means respecting you with admiration,loyalty, trust, and treating you as you want to be treated. Letting a man take advantage of you is not the definition of forgiveness or love. Look, I agree that cheating is likely in the future. It is especially true if you let him off the hook. Right now the ball is in your court. The way to certain termination of your relationship is to let him off with excuses. Can you forgive him and try this over? Yes , but not without complete accountability and a plan to move forward. The risk you take for the sake of the child might be worth trying to start over. Not knowing the situation its hard to give specific advice. But I would let him know in clear terms , what has to happen if you are to stay with him. It is best to involve a 3rd party, preferably a counselor in this negotiation. He now has to prove to you that it was a mistake etc. If you let him give you excuses you will be sealing your fate for sure. Don't be surprised if it does not work out,but let that reason be because he was not willing to respect you enough to remain loyal. Second chances are okay. Third and fourth chances are careless and will result in perpetual manipulation.

Darci, I'm just a do it youself-er. I would put at least 6 inches of fiberglass unfaced insulation of any brand up there. 12"would be best but you would have to cover it twice. I'm not sure insulation comes that thick. No need to glue, nail etc. All you do is lay it down inbetween the joists which should be 16 inches apart. Fiberglass comeS in 16" and 24". As far as putting plastic over the wiring as someone mentioned, I'm not sure why that would be neceassary, but I'm not a professional. Hope that helps.
