The separation of church and state was enacted so that no religion could control govt as the church of England and the Catholic churches did in the past centuries. It has nothing to do with putting Christmas scenes or the ten commandments on any govt buildings or properties. If U disagree with me, go back and read the Constitution and the meanings of the amendments.
