If you don't want a microsoft email account: SIMPLY DON'T USE IT.
That is: Don't send mails from that account and tell your friends to use the email
you want to use in which you are registered AND HAVE A PASSWORD.

before you type the name, without spaces, type: www
and at the end: .com
Most of the times it goes directly to the exact website
