Other than steroids, cancer drugs, fish, sunlight or lamps, coal tar and argon oil; Is there anything new out there that controls Psoriasis as the ones mentioned either don't work or are problematic?

My brother suffers from psoriasis and has been prescribed by his Derm. to go to a tanning bed, I think its a special one (tanning bed) with a certain type of bulbs, regardless his psoriasis is gone and he has a great tan.

Erythrocytes - Red blood cells owe their oxygen-carrying ability to Hemoglobin, a combination of a iron-containing prosthetic group, heme, with a protein, globin. Hemoglobin attracts and forms a loose connection with free oxygen, and its presence enables blood to absorb some 60 times the amount of oxygen that the plasma by itself absorbs. Oxyhemoglobin is red, which gives oxygenated blood its red color.
Red blood cells originate in the red bone marrow of the ribs, sternum, skull, pelvic bones, vertebrae, and the ends of long bones of the limbs.

pivot transfer works best to get patient to the chair. Use a transfer belt and probably two people to help would work best. Physio therapists have many ways to ambulate patients, use a sit to stand lift, or a walker that supports the weight of the patient with a sling. The therapists will physically move the legs of the patient (usually takes 3 people) to get the patient ambulating.

Depends... 2000 calories and your an olympic athelete or 2000 calories and you sit on the couch all day.... people will maintain their weight if they burn off what they consume daily regardless if it is 2000 calories or 3000 calories, It's simple math.. burn off what you take in and you will maintain your weight. consume less calories and work out more and you will lose weight. also depends on alot of other things such as metabolic rate, thyroid function ect.
