I was recently told by a skin specialist that one of the best things a woman can do for her face is to shave. It exfoliates and leaves it very smooth. Anybody have any experience with this?

I sent my older one to a public elementary school after the Montessori, toddler through kindergarten. I am not an expert of all subjects, so I thought the good school would do better for young children(2-6) than I could. But, I didn't feel necessary to send her to a private elementary school though, since we have a good public school system here.
At young ages, probably until before junior high, it is critical to teach children the disciplines and positive work habits. I thought I and my wife could teach those at home, in fact, we should. After the elementary school, kids would do well on their own with a little extra help and guidance of parents if they have established the discipline.
If a child shows poor progress on some subjects, I would help him do extra works at home or have a tutor. Now is the best time to do it during Summer break!
If you don't have time to help your child, it would be a good idea to send him to a good school like the Montessori. But don't forget to teach him to do what he is supposed to do and has to do at home. In the end, make sure to reward him if he does and improves his works. Have him feel the joy of accomplishment!

Yes, my child is in Montessori school now. Her class is for 4 to 5 years olds. They actually teach children following the curriculum. They go around different classrooms with different subjects. She brings her works to home. I am very satisfied with the school.
