hi if you stand in front of car looking at windscreen make that 12.00 oclock top dead centre and no1 plug is about 1.30 then in order from there is 2,7,8,4,5,6 and 3...... but wait there is another firing order. Tdc and no.1 is still at 1.30 but then it goes 2,7,5,6,3,4,8 hope this doesnt confuse the issue even more

Hi happy to help but it would be easier if you could show a pic of it different taps have different ways of removing them
where the throttle cable mounts on carby there should be 2 screws one is for idle speed (nearest to cable) other is oxy fuel mix........be aware very hard to fix once you start playing with mixture unless you know what you are doing recomend profesional
