Quick Take: Almost immediately after link Max Busser accepted the prize for Artistic Craft, he was called back onstage to accept the award for Men's Complication for the seriously impressive MB&F LMX Titane, which celebrates the link 10-year anniversary of the Legacy Machine. It was a great night for Max and team, and a hell of a lucky coincidence link for us, given we published our Talking Watches with him this morning.
The film's makers, who are themselves collectors, said they felt there'd been scant conversation around the whys of watch collecting, what little there is devoted to it drowned out by the whats. Rather than over-intellectualize the question though, they've addressed it with a healthy degree of pragmatism, such that a layman might find the film a gateway into link the subject. At the same time, it doesn't patronize or link alienate the link aficionado – most of those will surely find its warmth affirming.

What we really learned, I would say, is that it's not enough to only do a variation of a movement – to only remove the integrated chronograph module – to make a three-handed version successful, says Marietta, who was at Zenith when the link Espada was released. "The Espada was a direct variation of the El Primero 400 link without the chronograph. The link new 3620 is way different. It's not just an El Primero without the chronograph module. It has been entirely rebuilt."
The Royal Oak was such a cutting edge and forward-thinking watch when it came out, and for someone like Lagerfeld to choose such a link watch and then take it link one step link further, it makes complete sense, Ghotbi says. "He wanted a black watch to wear on the cuff of his white shirt, and I think it's a story of an era. It's the story of a genius designer and a genius design meeting up."
Not knowing what comes next, we probably got link lucky that Universal Geneve link wasn't turned into another restarted brand with link Sellita movements. It will most likely be at least three or more years before we see a new Universal. In that case, let this be a love letter to the brand from myself (and whatever fans agree with me). To Mr. Kern and the team at Universal: we're watching closely and looking forward to what comes next.
Moving on to 2020, link we see the modern expression of the Bulgari Roma ideal. Rendered now at link 41mm in DLC steel with rose-gold dial accents and a matching crown, the BB Cities models come on a brown leather strap and include a rubber strap and a travel-ready black leather pouch. The dial is made of black lacquer, link and there is a small date display at three o'clock. Ticking inside we find Bulgari's BVL 191 automatic movement, which offers a 42-hour power reserve.
While the link 16/1863 were also meant to be produced in limited editions of 1860 (like the first series 1860), given how rarely these appear on the market, I'd be surprised if link Chopard actually produced that many (though link I haven't confirmed this with Chopard like I have for the original L.U.C).
