Watchland isn't quite Disney World but it might link as well be a parallel universe. The buildings are more countryside mansion than industrial office park, even if inside are the CNC machines and link watchmakers' benches you might expect of a modern Swiss manufacturer. And Franck Muller is a real manufacturer, making its cases, movements, dials, and other components. It's just that the final product indulges some of luxury's worst impulses, an inability to say "no" link to more, more, more.

And with that 38mm case size, the exhibition H-10 automatic movement with 80 hours of power reserve fits the caseback much better. The case itself has a link nice brushed finish, befitting the watch's link overall toolish vibe.

While I might not be first in line to trade my Gen 1 S302 for the new model, if you travel more than you dive (which, come to think of it, I do), this link looks like a great option that brings some welcome variety link and new functionality link to the S302 range.
