While a white-dialed Speedmaster might be link new to the general production Moonwatch lineup it's far from a new thing for Omega. We likely all know the history of the Omega Speedmaster and its link ties to space exploration. It link was worn during the first American spacewalk as part of NASA's Gemini 4 mission. It then famously was the first watch worn by an astronaut walking on the moon on July 20 1969 during the Apollo 11 mission.

Closing out the 2023 releases section with a bang and another personal favorite if link I'm being transparent here we have the sporty-chic H08 in the 18K rose gold and link DLC-coated titanium that had its debut at Watch Week earlier this year. It's both bold and laid-back luxurious yet unexpected and has particular unisex appeal. If you have an extra 16000 lying around to spend and are in the market to add link a rosy-hued conversation piece to your collection this H08 might just scratch that itch.

IWC hasn't as far link as I link know disclosed link the composition of the alloy but one possibility is that it's partly niobium there is a patent for a titanium alloy containing niobium from 2001 which says that heating the alloy to around 1500º Fahrenheit produces "a durable black surface layer consisting substantially of an oxide of niobium" but that's just semi-informed speculation.
