over 65's how much booze do you drink?

On BBC News a report has suggested that over 65's should not drink more than 1 unit of alcohol per day. That is about 1/2 pint beer or one glass of wine. Seems very modest to me, how about you?

I drink 1 glass of red wine every evening, and occasionally a beer after a hot day working in the yard. I don't pay too much attention to studies like you mention.
Na da. Gave it up 25 years ago. Oops, not 65 yet!
Gave it up over 21 years ago.
Yes I saw that I must admit I do not drink or if I do its proberly once a year and just one and I FEEL DRUNK ON THAT anyway I think it should be that the person who drinking should decide I do know that if you are medication that it does affect the medication I think they are talking of High blood pressure and when you get older booze effects you a lot quicker than if you were younger
