    Scottish law.How long are the authourity required to hold on to a letter

    If I as an employee write a letter(serious issue) to the head of my department he is obligated to forward the letter to HR department(SCOTTISH PUBLIC AUTHORITY) I have heard that it is for 10 years that they have to retain this letter. can anyone confirm this
