    did you notice the "thank author" in blue. it's so true that after we use our words and thoughts to help a situation it is good to get a thank you or a comment back. agree?

    a lot of people just ask one question and then we never hear from them again. makes me think ... why bother.

    If you click on the word Thank author, it will disappear. Hopefully it will show up on the top of the Unanswered page with all the karma and comments.

    it showed up as "Mark as best answer" That's a whale better than thumb down.

    brick-bats was a new term to me as well so I looked...

    The earliest sense of brickbat, first recorded in 1563, was "a piece of brick." Such pieces of brick have not infrequently been thrown at others in the hope of injuring them; hence, the figurative brickbats (first recorded in 1929)
