    How long does an unpaid credit card stay on your credit record for?

    After several tries to get your money they turn it over to a credit agency and turn you in to the big 3 of the credit reporting agencies. It's there for 7 years and you won't be able to get a loan with that info or you may not get any more credit cards, etc.

    Unless you have filed it under bankruptcy or something of that sort, it stays on there until it is paid in full.
