    does the military have infrared satellites that can detect human beings?

    If I was hiding in the woods would it be possible for my body heat to be detected by a satellite?

    They certainly do, not to mention they have satellites that can read a news paper if you place it on the ground.
    YES. The police also use them if they are looking for suspects who have fled into a forest or any other hard to reach areas.
    I'm sure they have the technology by now...don't know for sure..but, beware I would say...(:
