Yes is was the Electoral Majority That Brought Obama over the Top.
not the Voters. It should be "We the People" This Part of the
Constitution in all fairness needs to be eliminated.
Our election system sucks, ask any democrat about the 2 bush elections, they will agree with me there.. Of course we had the same system when Obama won but it was ok then.. It's hypocrisy at its finest..
Obama was elected by a plural majority and a required majority of the Electoral College. Bush stole two election via the Electoral College not a majority of voters.
my mistake or is really the u.s goverments, time to revamp the system , but my answer has not changed as far as getting re-elected
majority of americans did vote for him cause at the time they liked him or else he would not be president ,majority of americans will not vote again for him because he's not for the majority of americans
    Clinton

Electoral Majority....not the majority of US citizens.

Clinton, YOU ARE WRONG. Obama received a majority of the vote of the people as well as the Electoral College. Get your facts straight.
The election system is good, needs to be better but probably the best in the world if everyone that used it was educated on the people running. Instead of just listening to their ads.
I believe more and more Americans have shown interest in electing our public officials now than at any time in our nations history due to our access to information via TV and Internet.
The systems not perfect but its ours.

Unfortunately this information has spured political NUT JOBS on both sides of the isle. All of which count as ONE VOTE.

EVERYONE should vote if your eligible.

SO LETS GET OUT AND MAKE OBAMA A ONE TERM PRESIDENT
YOU'LL BE DOING YOUR COUNTRY A SERVICE

We need to get rid of the electoral vote system. It does invalidate some individual votes.

Unfortunately, it violates the rights of many who vote. The Electoral College is antiquated and should be amended to give a percentage of votes based on each individual state, not one person takes it all.
