        Oh, God,  I hope so!  Jack was a gentleman from the word go. Yes sir no sir,  firm handshake,  married my mother with four of us already. Died a very,  very humble man. ....

          My dad was quiet in a crowd, competent, hard to know, savvy and intelligent. He was generous and hard-working (as in 24/7), his handshake as binding as a legal contract.


          I'd like to think I have taken after him in more ways than having high cholesterol.
