I think if the Broncos' defense is having an off day, the game will be over by halftime.

It would appear they did not have a off day Bob..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

It was a defensive game, wasn't it. Neither quarterback had much going on today. It was a bit of a nailbiter til the end!

Bob, i have no idea if it was close or not,nor do i understand how it is played,,however i believe they have defensive players and attacking players,,hell of a lot of players for 1 game,i believe our Brisbane Bronco's have an affilliation with the Denver Bronco's..hence my money was on Denver..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

Money in the right place! 11 players on field per team. Object is to cross the protected goal line controlling ball. Caught or run across = 6 pt. Extra point after that (touchdown) to kick through posts. Four chances to advance 10 yards by pass or run. Keep ball if you do. If not, can kick/punt the ball away from goal you protect and other team gets a turn. If you're close enough on 4th try for 10 yards, you can try to kick ball through posts for 3 points. Point kicks are held (think Charlie Brown and Lucy) place on ground and held upright for kicker. Punt is "free kick". After touchdown, you can try to pass or run ball across goal again for 2 extra points instead of 1.
Offense, Defense, Special teams (for field goals, kickoffs, punts). If the ball holder is tackled behind the goal line his team is protecting, the other team gets 2 pts. for "safety" and other team kicks ball back to them. Other point times, team earning points kicks ball to other team. Kicking is to put the ball as far from goal you protect.

Okay Bob,11 players on field at any 1 time,,but how many players in the team total,,including subs if there are any.we have 13 on field and 4 substitutes on the bench,,.>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rugby_league_positions

Terry, here's some more info: The NFL consists of 32 clubs divided into two conferences of sixteen teams each. Each conference is divided into four divisions of four clubs each. During the regular season, each team is allowed a maximum of 53 players on its roster; only 46 of these may be active (eligible to play) on game days.

Remember, that there are 11 players on the field at any given time, and at least one man on the bench for 2nd quarterback. It still sounds like a lot, to me, too. Guess it's just the nature of this particular beast. :D

I support the Brisbane Broncos in Aussie Rugby League,,So yes to the Denver Broncos.>>>>>>>>""<<<<<<<<..""

But your Broncos dont ware all that crap of padding Terry,,,,

No way Hec,,that just gives your opposition more to grab,,to hot and slows you down,,and we only have 16 players, not 40 or thereabouts...the guy in white in the photo,,ended up a quadraplegic as a result of this tackle,,padding or a helmet would not have saved him....>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..
