Should Mother Teresa be made a saint?

Most Catholics think that saints are outmoded and that the Church should move away from such medieval concepts. What is your opinion?

I thought she already was but then, I’m not Catholic and thus don’t keep up with saints. Add her to the list already!

Pope Francis has canonized 26 saints since becoming pope in 2013.   I think this is almost as many who are elected to athletic or music halls of fame in a year.  Most of those people most of us have never heard of, either. Mother Theresa was known of by almost everyone.

Personally, I am not a big believer in the concept.

I do not believe it to be Biblical Bob..>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

Neither do I, terry. I also don't believe I have to pray to a saint, who will "pass it along" to God. It may be somewhere in the Bible that this is the way it's supposed to be, but I haven't come across THAT passage.
Let's be honest....man has put his own twist on the words of EVERY "god". That's one reason why there is so much religious unrest, in my opinion, of course.

Christopher Hitchens sure as h*** would not have approved.

I hope they do put a halo over her head. I'll add her to my nightly bedtime prayers list.

Hitchen's book 'The Missionary Position' reveals that Teresa was a good friend of Papa Doc Duvalier dictator of Haiti, did not administer analgesics to her patients, but accepted them for herself when she was dying.

No mortal man has the right to commission a Saint.

I've wondered too, from where does that kind of 'power' come.

    Only God Knows,

No,the bible does not support such an act, however the Catholics do bend the truth, and have done so from way back to the Crucifixion of Jesus..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Roman%20Catholicism/rcc5-saints.htm

There are several things about the Catholic faith that don't set right in my Protestant world, saints being one of them, but even more so is that the 3rd commandment is missing, and the 9th has been divided into two.

Hey Bob,on the day of the crucifixion, the romans started the roman cathlolic church,,but they added a bit of their own into the belief..Priests-nowhere in the book does it say you cannot be married to serve God,in fact it says " better to be married if you cannot control your emotions " ....and divorce,,,there are a couple of reasons in the bible that you can be legally divorced that the catholic religion does not adhere to..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<..
