    Tooth Fairy

What  is your most memorable moment when you lost a tooth (as a child)?

When I was in the third grade living in Indiana, I bit into a roll while eating lunch in the cafeteria and lost my tooth inside the roll. I kept biting onto something hard, so curious to discover what the hard bit was I bit into I pulled the roll out of my mouth, dug into it and discovered my tooth.

Rome, your tooth fairy must have been rich !

Well, CB, it wasn't MY tooth, it was my sister's, which actually broke off at an angle.  She was in 2nd grade, I was in 3rd, and we were playing dodge ball on the corridor at recess time.  I rolled the ball, she jumped up to clear it, but landed ON it, fell on her face and cracked out the tooth.  Maybe that's when she started hating me?

    Oh my goodness Bob!

Obviously, this was an accident, instigated by her poor timing and the combined stupidity of all of us playing to select a concrete surface for the game.

    Ye ye!

I really didn't lose one; it was forcibly extracted. My cousins, both 8 and 9 years old than me, pinned me to the floor and yanked it, I was 5 or 6 at the time, and screamed my head off! Very cruel!

But hung by a thin thread of skin and you're a sissy kid it's a great way to remove a tooth or were you never a child?

LOL Julie did you see America's Funniest Videos where the little girl had a string tied to her tooth and a remote controlled car? The brother put the car in gear and it yanked out the tooth. Hilarious!

    How cute!

The dime under the pillow. But it was more fun when I grew up, had children, and became the Tooth Fairy.

Have you raised it due to inflation?

Yes Clonge. I raised it to 25 cents. A fairy has got to keep up with the times!
