    What is the relationship between "excited" and "thrill"?   "Excited" is past tense, something that has already happened.  You were "excited" by a thrill?  Or a thrill excited you....


    Both words are rather abstract, as is difficult, and both are subjective.  If you phrased your question:
    Excited is to thrill as (blank) is to difficult


    I think "challenged", "stymied", "perplexed" might be suitable answers.
