    BABY ALERT

I'm excited to share some good news with my akaQA friends...

My eldest son and his wife welcomed their first child (his 4th, her 2nd) today, February 6, 2015, at 12:11 pm.  7 POUNDS, 15 OUNCES, 20 INCHES LONG.

I held her for about an hour this afternoon and really didn't want to let go. Mom had a 16 hour labor.  Dad slept through none of it.  :D

Ach....she might have waited a couple of weeks so we could have shared a birthday. Well done to Mum and Dad, and of course to a proud Granny.

Thank you ROMOS. I have a friend (since we were in first grade). He is born 3/6 and I am born 3/7. His congrats text included the observation that now I have a grandchild born 2/6 and he has a grandchild born 2/7. Mom was almost a week overdue and the doctor knew baby was ready even if Mom's body needed some prodding...

I got your text but my phone would not deliver the photos. I’m so excited for you (and them). I’m sure she is as beautiful as you tried to show me……….

    Bob/PKB

Well, I dropped my phone tonight (not even on its face and WITH its expensive "otter box" cover). It doesn't work at all.
I'll get in touch as soon as I get a new phone $$$$$$$ :(

While you are breaking down getting a new phone, buy a computer as well…….
    Bob/PKB

I set up the computer, but it won't take the email address you have for me. I'm still working on that, but the phone got fixed (expensive but nothing compared to the cost of replacing the phone), so I'll email you from there with my "new email address".

Congratulations Bob. How nice for you.

Thank you, dear Ducky. I am enjoying two of the children this weekend, feeling really blessed, for sure.

Please see the question revealing the sender's email address. She (?) expressed that she wanted it removed......

Thank you, PL. I am in awe of my son and daughter-in-law taking all this in stride. I was overwhelmed with 3 and they have 5...the oldest will be 6 in May TWO of them are two! Can't help but love the whole "team".

Thank you Tom; happy new year. I hope you and your family enjoy a year of peace and happiness. You deserve the best!
Her brother and sisters met her tonight. My son's 3 were pretty excited. My step-granddaughter wasn't quite so thrilled.

    Happy for you Miss Bob,

    Bob/PKB

Thank you kindly, Mr. Hector! How's your puppy?

He is about 3and a half now Bob,and he loves looking out of the car window when driving, and has his photo taken maney times, and he sings now to the t/v with the right tune that he likes, but his bowling is yet to improve,
    Bob/PKB

Not many dogs are good bowlers! It sounds like he is a star in his own right!

Congradulations Bob to you and your family!  The 6th is a wonderful day to be born on. (see Linda Goodman's Star Signs book about being born on the sixth of any month.)

    Bob/PKB

Thank you, tabber. I will check on that. Oldest granddaughter is also born on a "6th"!
    mycatsmom

I consulted that book for years, tabber. It was so spot on . I remember the day she died. :'-(
Read about it in the newspaper...

Well congrats. Hope mom and all doing well.

Mom said the doctor showed up early this morning and she reminded him the baby had been born at noon the day before; she wanted to make sure they would be released and on their way home by noon. Dad is doing the chores right now, and I'm sure he will have an even greater appreciation for his wife when she is up and "back to work". :D Thank you, zorro!

Have you ever thought of opening a nursery. LOL

Congratulations on becoming a grandmother once again.  I hope you make many happy memories with your new bundle of joy.

    Bob/PKB

I loved having two of them here for a couple of days, but was really glad my youngest son was here to help! I did ask the kids' dad why he sent the two frustrating ones to MY house and the two EASY ones to Grandpa and Grandma Wonderful. He just laughed.

Congratulations to all, it is always such a blessing to have a healthy baby, enjoy this new addition to your family.  Regards Grandma Bob...

Thank you Grandpa bustieone! She is just perfect!
