    HI TABBER!

I'm going to my eldest son's home for Thanksgiving.  My daughter-in-law's sister and brother will be there, as will my other two sons (one bringing his GF and her two kids)....not sure who else is on the guest list.  It will be a "big deal" for them as far as entertaining goes.  I'll be bringing some desserts (pretzel-bottomed Jello, two others as yet unnamed) and a corn casserole I enjoyed at a "Thanksgiving" themed first birthday party (My friends' little girl will be 1 on Thanksgiving, so the party was held a few days early.

Hope you have some wonderful plans and enjoy a happy holiday!

Pretzel-Bottomed Jello ... I have never heard of that before. :) I am going to look that up.
I hope it is a marvelous day Bobette.

ROMOS hasn't celebrated Thanksgiving before. I will be making a traditional Thanksgiving meal and I hope he'll like it.  Pumpkin Pie is on the menu, he's never tried it before.

    Thank you MCM. :)

No Tabber, no plans. Unfortunately we in Australia do not have or celebrate Thanksgiving.

Hi Tabby.  Welcome back ! We haven't seen you for awhile. We missed you. A g.friend of mine asked me to come over on TG day . She's has 2 grown sons and her deceased husband's brother and his wife will be there.  I'm going to bring something. ......whatever she needs to round out the dinner .

I'm sure you can find the jello recipe online. I definitely make that the day before.
The corn casserole is very simple, but takes 2 hours to bake, at 350.
    combine:
    2 cans creamed corn
2 cans sweet corn (liquid included)
2 boxes Jiffy Corn Bread Mix
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 cups sour cream
    2 cubes butter
    9 x 13 pan, 2 hours at 350 degrees.
If you want to half it, it's pretty easy to adjust the recipe!!! Happy TG

Hi mycatsmom. Thank you. Seems like I have been over busy, like many of us are. About 5 different things popped up, not the lotto though. But i'm doing fine. Sounds like you are too. Happy Holidays!
