    Why does my female cat stand outside my bedroom door and caterwaul , even tho' I'm not in there ? I'm out here.......in her site .

    My cat spends most of her time in my room. She comes out to eat, do her "business", and sit on the couch with me. The bedroom is her haven. Open the door and let her in. She's more secure there. You have nothing to do with it.

    she used to consider the spare bedroom her lounge, but she lost interest in going in there. Apparently, she likes mine better.

    Our female does that, usually it's because she wants one of us to go and lay on the bed with her.
