        My roommate’s boss accidentally locked her dog in a car. A black car. On a hot day. The dog died. So, she dressed in sweaters, a heavy coat and sat in her car with the heat on for 3 hours, just like her dog. This is in the hot sun, mind you. The car cooled down for some mysterious reason no matter how high she turned the heat. Doggy ghost story?

          Just became Law in R.I. that police have right to break window and rescue pets.  And it is a felony to leave pets in cars in any weather!
